Transitioning Learners through Caring and Commitment
TLC strives to create a learning environment that will develop attitudes, behaviors, and skills which enables students to be academically and socially successful.
- Each student has unique and individual needs.
- Mutual respect between parents, students, teachers, and community is a necessary element of excellence.
- That a safe and nurturing environment will foster positive self-concepts and attitudes.
- Learning requires discipline and nurturing.
About our School
In operation since 1995, the TLC was designed to provide an alternative education to students who have not been successful in their regular school setting due to behavior, academics, or a combination of both. Our program currently serves students in grades 6-12 that have been referred to us from Lee County Schools, tribunals, or through the court system.
